Dana A. Schmidt is a 1994 graduate of Ona M. Wilcox College as a Registered Nurse and became an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2009. She received her BS in Maternal-Child Health/Lactation Consultation in 2010. Since becoming a nurse 15 years ago, her experience has involved maternal child health including hospital maternity as well as community home care. She is an active member of ILCA, CT Breastfeeding Coalition and USLCA. Dana Schmidt, RN, IBCLC realizes the importance of evidence-based lactation support in the community. This led to a natural progression of the formation of Cradlehold She lives with her husband and five children.
