Starting Out Safe & Sound New Parent Class
This 3 part class includes two consecutive classes followed by a reunion class after everyone's baby arrives!
The class will cover:
* Health screens and procedures in the birth setting
* Newborn appearance
* Elimination patterns
* Diapering, dressing , umbilical cord care, sponge bathing, circumcision care
* Schedule of check-ups and immunizations
* Signs of illness and when to seek medical advice
* Car seat safety practices
* Sleep position and SIDS prevention
* Correct head support
* Fire and burn precautions
* Numerous other safety measures for the first months of life.
* Selecting a pediatric provider
* Reviewing health coverage
* Introduction to breastfeeding
Interactive booklet for review at home before and afteryour baby's birth.
Just bring along a "baby" for practice. Hungry mamas are welcome to bring along snacks/drinks!

Better Breastfeeding Prenatal Class
This 2 hour class is taught by an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant and will cover:
How breastfeeding works
* Latch and positioning
* When, where and how much
* Support from your partner, pediatric health provider and community
* Interactive booklet for review at home before and after your baby's birth.
Small classes - individual attention - casual atmosphere.
Just bring along a "baby" for practice and a big sandwich for dinner - you'll find out why!

This 2-hour class will cover preparing during pregnancy to your return to work.

* After returning including pumping, storage and caregiver tips

Enjoy songs, games, and stories that will teach you and your child over 40 signs!
This 6-week play class for parents and their babies:
highlights signs that are most important in the lives of babies
teaches signing through fun games with BeeBo™ the Baby Signs® Bear
provides signing practice through delightful Baby Signs® songs
introduces play activities that reinforce important language, cognitive and social- emotional skills
brings families together to share their signing experiences
Designed for parents and children ages 6 months to 3 years. Ask your instructor how you can receive the Sign, Say & Play® Kit to encourage more signing fun with your little one.
This 6-week Sign, Say & Play class session run will run every Saturday, from 9:00-9:45am, beginning November 12, except for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
The fee is $95.00 for the 6-week session.
